Maximised Storage Without Renovation
This project is an example of our SPACE Refresh service in action — helping Singapore homeowners get smarter storage within fixed cabinetry, no renovation required.
Household
A busy household with two young children and two full-time working parents who needed their home to work harder for them.
Priority
Ease, speed and accessibility — not picture-perfect organisation that requires constant upkeep.

Constraint
No renovation allowed – existing cabinets had to stay, so solutions had to fit the fixed cabinet dimensions perfectly.
Challenges
Low Visibility + Hard to Access
Deep corners and crowded drawers meant items were hidden, stacked and hard to retrieve.
Mixed Categories + “Catch-all” Zones
Everyday items and seldom-used items were stored together, creating constant reshuffling.
Overcrowding from Overflow Storage
Kitchen items spilled into other spaces, while the storeroom absorbed clutter without structure.
No Renovation Allowed
Storage had to improve within the existing cabinetry, layout and awkward cabinet depths.
What Wasn't Working
BEFORE
Deep Corner Cabinet
- Fixed shelves trapped items at the back
- Had to remove 5+ items to reach one thing
- Space poorly utilised, leaving gaps unused
- Doors couldn't open fully

Pantry Overflow
- Insufficient kitchen storage resulted in only one drawer for ALL pantry items
- Tall bins hid items at the bottom, making it hard to retrieve anything without rummaging
